All the administrator needs to do is simply enable this feature with one simple click.
eiPower Saver Solution scans the Symantec Patch Management and Software Delivery Solution queues for scheduled jobs. When it finds either, it inserts commands that bring the PC out of low power mode. When the PC picks up the job and command, it will automatically come out of low power mode 5 minutes before the scheduled job to ensure Patch or Software compliance. There is no use of Wake on LAN, or requirement for vPro™. Once the PC has the job, there is no further communication to the server. It simply works.
